As COVID-19 vaccine becomes available and more people are eligible, it might be a good idea to review the prevaccination checklist that is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 

It is important to understand why these questions are relevant to the overall success of the COVID-19 vaccine. The answers allow the professionals to assess if the vaccine is appropriate for you or if they need to take extra precautions when administering the vaccine such as the potential for an allergic reaction.

ADA - Homestanding Ada burst open a close battle against backyard arch-rival Upper Scioto Valley with a 21-8 third period and went on to beat the Rams convincingly 55-34 in a non-league contest Tuesday evening.

The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Ram girls 35-19 after halftime to pull away from a tenuous 20-15 intermission lead.

Driving hard to the basket, Bulldog sophomore playmaker Courtney Sumner pumped in a game-high 22 points to pace the victors.

"We felt like the first three minutes of the second half were going to be the key," said Ada third-year head coach Morgan Bass. "We got the run we wanted right out of halftime."

Murphy, Cook lead Ada boys past NB

ADA - Host Ada shot its way to a big halftime lead and held on to beat feisty North Baltimore 63-51 in a foul-filled boys basketball bout Tuesday night.

The teams combined for 26 second-half fouls in the chippy and lengthy contest, and 36 overall.

Ada junior Cayden Murphy returned from an ankle sprain that forced him to miss the last game vs. Crestview, and led the victors with 19 points.

Bulldog senior guard Micah Cook drained three three-pointers in the second period as Ada built a 27-14 halftime advantage. 

Dakota Clay on Cedarville dean's list

Ada High School graduate Dakota Clay is on the fall dean's honor list of Cedarville University.

This recognition required Clay to obtain a 3.75 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.
