For some Icon viewers this photo could represent your great-great-great grandparents. The photo shows the competitors in the 1925-26 Ada High School Interclass Competition.
In the year 2106 the Ada Icon will post the photo of the 2016 Interclass competitors - 90 years from now.

S.B. 243 enacted a one-time sales tax holiday to occur only in 2015. The holiday starts on Friday, Aug. 7, and ends on Sunday, Aug. 9.
During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:
•An item of clothing priced at $75 or less
•An item of school supplies priced at $20 or less; and
•An item of school instructional material priced at $20 or less.
Items used in a trade or business are not exempt under the sales tax holiday.
Thursday, Aug. 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the Ada schools are open for parents and students to meet their teachers, visit classrooms, locate lockers and meet school administrators.
The school is posting lots of back-to-school details on its website and the Icon has all that material.

Bluffton’s fireworks, postponed in late June due to the weather, is rescheduled for 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Bluffton’s National Night Out celebration at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool.
National NIght Out goes from 6 to 9 p.m. The fireworks display concludes the evening and should last between 20 and 30 minutes. All events of the evening are free and open to the public.
The National Night Out and fireworks will take place on Snider Road, Bluffton. Watch for a map indicating locations where people can watch the display.

Marjorie I. Creps, 82, died on Thursday, July 30 at 11 p.m. at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born on October 16, 1932 in Bluffton to Irwin I. and Dora D. (Barns) Shilling who preceded her in death. She married Donald D. Creps and he died on October 23, 2006.
Marjorie retired from Richland Manor where she worked as a nurse. She was a member of the Westminster United Methodist Church, Westminster.
Surviving are her children: Stephen (Becky) Creps of Lima, Stephanie (John) Parker of New Port Richey, FL and Susan (Louis) Fry of St. Marys; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Bowdle.
