The Ohio Northern University Department of English presents Bluffton author Tobias S. Buckell in the Wishing Well at the McIntosh Center on Thursday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. The Caribbean-born, New York Times best-selling author will read from his eco-thriller “Arctic Rising.”
The event is free and open to the public.
Buckell’s work has been translated into 16 different languages. He has published some 50 short stories in various magazines and anthologies and has been nominated for the Hugo, Nebula, Prometheus and Campbell awards.

It has been two more weeks since we originally posted this story of the ongoing mural project at The Ada Public Library. Richard Heller, the plaintiff in the U.S. Supreme Court decision that said the Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to possess a gun, will discuss the landmark case, District of Columbia vs. Heller, in the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law’s Large Moot Court room on Friday, March 15, at 12:15 p.m.
