The secret’s out. The Buy Ada First Committee, planning the community’s second cash mob, this week announced the location of the event.
The cash mob takes place at one of Ada’s prominent retail businesses, Health-Chek, 117 S. Main St., from 3 to 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 12.
“Alisa Armbrecht welcomed our invitation to host this event,” said Heather Cox, member of the committee. “We hope to continue more cash mobs in Ada during 2013.”
New Leaf Lawn and Garden Center, 0395 State Route 235, Ada, still has room in its Saturday, March 23, spring seminars.
Due to limited seating and lunch provide, New Leaf’s staff asks that participants call for reservations. If you cannot attend the store has copies of the handouts provided for you to obtain. You may attend one or each of the workshops.

The Ada Community Improvement Corp. “Community Highlights” calendar is back. In late 2012 Ruth Roider retired from creating the bi-monthly calendar.
The Ada Icon offered to continue this valuable community service, and the CIC accepted the Icon’s offer. The March-April version of the calendar was sent to CIC members and others on the CIC e-mail list yesterday.
A copy of the Highlights is an attachment found at the bottom of this story.
Angela Polachek, of the Village of Ada said, “In an effort to get an even wider distribution of the information in the Highlights, CIC wants to try something a little different.”
