Charles E. Wood, 92, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at 12:27 p.m. at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born on May 8, 1927, in Ada, Ohio, to the late Albert L. and Nancy Elva (Moore) Wood. On July 1, 1950, Charles married Barbara J. Brown and she preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 2018.
Charles retired from First Federal Savings & Loan Association,Wauseon, where he worked as a branch manager and a vice president. He previously taught at Bryan High School and in Agribusiness.
The Kenton Hardin Health Department has been notified of a second confirmed case for COVID-19 in a Hardin County resident.
We have contacted the patient and the individuals exposed and they have been instructed to self-quarantine and monitor for symptoms," according to the department's news release.
The health department will be in daily contact with these individuals for monitoring of temperatures and symptoms. No personal information about the case will be released to protect the privacy of the individual.
