The sign on the door says "Coming Soon." Vape N Chill will be located just north of China King on South Main. It will sell vapor supplies and have a vapor lounge (think e-cigarettes, a.k.a. electronic cigarettes).

Inn at ONU offers PaintInn sessions

The Inn at ONU offers three PaintINN sessions this spring. The first session, "Clay Pot," will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21. Saturday, March 21st at 10:00 AM.  The program
is be a  “Clay Pot”.  Participants will learn to create a beautiful piece of art from an ordinary clay pot.

During the PaintINN, participants may enjoy a Mimosa and a deluxe continental breakfast of pastries and fresh berries. The session will last approximately two hours; the cost of $38 per person includes all materials are supplied.

Reservations are required and seating is limited.

Tori Wyss named Northwest Conference girls' basketball Player of the Year

Ada senior Tori Wyss was selected as the 2014-15 NWC Player of The Year in voting by Northwest Conference girls basketball coaches.

In the vote Wyss received 117 of a possible 120 first place points to earn Player of the Year honors over Crestview senior, Lyndsey Motycka (113 points) and Crestview junior, Emily Bauer (101 points).

Wyss averaged 15.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in leading the Bulldogs to a 7-1 conference record and second place in the NWC. In conference play, Wyss averaged 18.1 points per game helping the Bulldogs to improve upon last year’s sixth place conference finish.

If you enjoyed "Cat in the Hat," "Green Eggs and Ham," somebody hears a who, and lots more book titles like these, then get ready for a birthday party Thursday, March 12, at the Ada Public Library. Maybe Thing 1 and Thing 2 might attend.

Jane Moloney "just like family to us at Cole Motors"

This continues the series "15 Minutes with" featuring Jane Moloney who will retire May 1 after 40 years with Cole Motor Sales in Ada.

What changes have you seen in automobiles during the past four decades?
Cars today last longer, have better gas mileage, are more friendly to the environment, and are more comfortable.

What have your duties been at Cole Motors?
I assist customers when they pay their bills, do the daily bookkeeping and tax accounting, and answer phones.

Community Health Professionals host to March 9 blood drive

The  next American Red Cross blood drive will be held Monday, March 9, at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St. The drive will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
