ONU's Devon Price second team All-American D3

 Ohio Northern senior Devon Price was named a member of the 2015 D3football.com All-America Team at the wide receiver position.

Price earned Second Team honors and earned his first All-America honor.

The senior is currently ONU's all-time career leader with 244 receptions and 3,201 yards. He also is top all-time at ONU with 76 kickoff returns for 1,868 yards and is second with 5,539 all-purpose yards.

He led the Ohio Athletic Conference this season with 89 receptions for 1,217 yards to go with six touchdowns.

Price helped guide the Polar Bears to a 9-3 record and an NCAA Tournament birth.

Toss the traditional library silence mode out the window for this party

A teen Christmas party Thursday at the Ada Public Library was anything but calm and quiet, contrary to the traditional library mode of near silence.

When a bunch of teens gather to have fun, it's a noisy occasion, but no matter they had their own room for games, cookie decorating, and gift exchange.

Ohio Northern University receives Walgreens Diversity Grant

The Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy has received a grant from Walgreens for $10,000 to promote diversity among student pharmacists and to assist minority students with financial aid. Ryan Wagner and Randy Jennings presented the check from Walgreens while on a trip to the Ada campus. Jennings is a 1998 graduate of the Raabe College of Pharmacy.

New subdivision underway in Ada

There is a lot of construction going on in Ada, an entire subdivision, in fact. The Ada Public Library sponsored a gingerbread house making event on Thursday evening. Lloyd "Walt" Early was a 1941 Ada High School graduate

Lloyd "Walt" Early, 93, of Jenera, died on Thursday at the Good Samaritan Home in Arlington. Walt was born on Aug., 7, 1922 in Allen County to the late Schuyler C. and Josephine L. (Bundy) Early. He was married to Marilyn W. Betz, Marjory E. Robbins and Betty A. VanDeventer and they all have preceded him in death.

On Nov. 4, 1995 he married Carolyn E. Woodward and she survives.  Walt was a graduate of Ada High School in 1941. Walt was a U.S. Army veteran as a PFC in the 99th Infantry, Air Cadet in the 78th Infantry Division during WWII, seeing combat in several battles including the Battle of the Bulge, Rhineland, Ramagen, Bridge, Ruhr Pocket and Colonge Plains.

Raabe College of Pharmacy grads ranks first in licensure exams

Graduates of the Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy continued their record of outstanding achievement on the North American Pharmacists Licensure examination (NAPLEX) with an overall passage rate of 97 percent, which ranks among the top scores for 2015 graduates from all Ohio pharmacy schools who took the examination for the first time.
