Liberty National Bank, Main Street, Ada, invites Icon viewers to a tailgate party. The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22 at the bank.

Jacob Okuly, a 2019 Ada High School graduate, is in his first year of a mechanical apprenticeship program at GROB Systems, Bluffton. He holds a portion of a slide project he's working on. In GROB's apprentice program, Okuly can complete an associate's degree from Rhodes State, Lima, and eventually qualify as a journeyperson Industrial Machinist System Technician. The next apprenticeship open house and tour at GROB is Saturday, Dec. 7.

George McCauley exhibit here until Dec. 14

The work of ceramic artist George McCauley is on view now through Dec. 14 at the Elzay Gallery of Art on the ONU campus.

McCauley, a Greek-American potter, has had 30 solo shows and has been included in 300 exhibitions. He has taught and conducted workshops internationally.

He is recipient of four National Endowment for the Arts grants and the prestigious Roy Acuff Chair of Excellence for the Arts at Austin Peay State University. 

His ceramic and sculpture works are included in international collections in 12 countries.
