Michael Harnishfeger, Ada Police Chief, provided The Ada Icon with the Ada Police Call Logs from July 30 to Aug. 5. They follow:

Dr. Westcott joins BVH Women and Children's Center

Dr. Allison Westcott has joined the Blanchard Valley Hospital Women and Children’s Center.

Dr. Westcott provides obstetrics and gynecology care and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Westcott received her medical degree from The University of Toledo and completed an OB/GYN residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina. She joins Dr. Miguel Jordan, Dr. George Abate and Certified Nurse Practitioner Teresa Jones in the practice.

Larry Smith had retired after 35 years at Whirlpool

 

Larry L. Smith, age 66, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 12:25 PM at his residence in Dola.

He was born on April 28, 1946 in Mason, Michigan to Paul D. and Coletta (Hastings) Smith. They are both are deceased. He is survived by his step mother: Avis Smith of Kenton, Ohio.
