Registration (McIntosh Center, Main Lobby) Upon arrival to campus, have no worries - as long as you can find McIntosh Center, our friendly staff and students will help take care of the rest. ReStore providing summer lunches for Ada youths June 17-July 31

Hey, kids! Let's eat!

Now that school's out for the summer Ada's ReStore Community Center, 210 N. Main St., invites all Ada area youth under 18 to participate in "Picnic in the Park," this summer.

The lunches offered are part of the Ohio Summer Food Service Program.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a USDA program offered through the Ohio Department of Education that provides nutritious meals and snacks in sites that meet eligibility requirements.

The program has no eligiblity requirements and no registration requirements.

Alison Steinbrunner named Capital One Academic All-District

Senior Alison Steinbrunner has been named Capital One Academic All-District 7 for Women's Track & Field/Cross Country, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

This is the third consecutive year the pharmacy major has received this honor.

She will now move on to the national ballot, with first, second and third team All-Americans being selected in June.

Steinbrunner concluded her career with another brilliant season.

In cross country, she won her fourth straight OAC championship and second straight regional title.

President Myrna McCurdy called the weekly meeting of the Ada Kiwanis Club to order on Tuesday May 28, at McIntosh Center, ONU.

The invocation was offered by Jon Umphress.

The birthday of President McCurdy (May 28th) was noted in song.

The birthday of Scott Allison (May 29th) was also noted.

The membership anniversary of Mike Hood (June1, 1981) was also noted.

Member John and Joanne Berg were congratulated on their wedding anniversary. They were wed May 29, 1955.

Ada native Joshua Rouch receives Cardinal Health Pharmacy Scholarship

Ohio Northern University student Joshua Rouch, a fifth-year pharmacy major from Ada,  is ONU’s 2013 recipient of the Cardinal Health Pharmacy Scholarship Award.

The Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy was one of more than a dozen pharmacy schools from across the nation selected in 2013 to receive funding to establish endowed scholarships from the multimillion-dollar Cardinal Health Pharmacy Scholarship Program, now in its third year.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, Rouch has been invited by Cardinal Health to attend and be honored at its annual Retail Business Conference in Seattle in August.
