Icon to schedule Memorial Day weekend edition

The Bluffton and Ada Icons will have an extended weekend publishing schedule for Memorial Day weekend 2023. New content will appear on Friday morning and, except for breaking news, pause until Tuesday morning.

The Icon office will be closed from Friday, May 26-Monday May 29.

Our newsgathering schedule will continue through the weekend, including Bluffton and Ada High School graduations and Memorial Day events.

Last weekend ONU commencement ceremonies included 402 undergraduates, 183 pharmacy graduates and 52 law school graduates. Here a quartet of grads spell out their class year: 2-0-2-3.

Let’s talk lunch for elementary school students

SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM

Beatitudes community center, 210 N. Main St., will be offering a summer lunch program for Ada children who need assistance. Parents or guardians must call Deb Curlis at 419-788-9459 to register.

The program is available for any school aged child in the Ada area. You must be signed up to receive weekly meal bags.

Free weekly lunches will be provided starting June 2 and will be available each Friday until July 28.
