Pardon our recent distracation. The Icon has a couple 15-minute interviews with ONU international students that we've not had a chance to post. Our intern, Liza Dyachuk, from Russia, conducted these in early March. We hope these students are able to continue to communicate with their family and we hope everyone is well.

He talks about how the university navigates through the COVID-19 pandemic

Greetings from Ohio Northern University.

Dr. Daniel DiBiasio, president of Ohio Northern University, shares a message for everyone in the ONU community through a YouTube video now on the ONU website.

His message centers on how the university continues to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. His message stresses three points the university is focusing on, which include protecting the health and safety of the study body, the education of students and operating effectively as a university.

He congratulated students for their impressive adoptability and told them to stay connected to their professors.

Busted: Fraudulent COVIS-19 tests and treatments

This story is provided by the ONU HealthWise Pharmacy.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning consumers about fraudulent coronavirus tests, vaccines and treatments.

Currently, there are no vaccines to prevent COVID-19 or medications approved to treat COVID-19, according to the FDA.

Still, fraudulent products are claiming to cure, treat or prevent COVID-19. These products have not been shown to be safe or effective, the FDA noted. In fact, these fraudulent products may actually pose significant risks to you and your family.
