Cheerleaders rev up the crowd at the bonfire on Wednesday evening at the Ada Schools in anticipation of the Homecoming game on Friday evening.
The band was there to add enthusiasm. Football players, students in all grades, parents, school staff were all there to fire up the crowd. Even a few firemen (and their truck) were on hand to keep an eye on the flames.
Unexpectedly, the Ada Icon camera caught a few Hawaiians, a puppy, and a walking banana at the bonfire. It was a perfect evening for a pep rally at twilight.
