If it's pizza for supper, consider Ada's newest pizza shop's options

Ada is well-known for great pizza shops.

Now there’s a new shop in town and the ingredient options are, well, out of this world.

Ada third graders, working in art class, developed a collage project that is one-of-a-kind.

According to Kristie Steiner, art teacher, students were asked to create their very own pizza, name it and name the toppings.

These aren’t plain-old cheese pizzas. Each was required to have five toppings and to show texture.

Steiner said that pizza project was a great success and it also carried over to computer class as well.

Your wife called

You'll soon spring forward - and here's a story about Ada's favorite time piece

Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 13. Move your clocks forward (spring forward) one hour before you go to sleep on Saturday night.

Here's a brief history of the clock in the Railroad Park downtown.
The timepiece was installed in 2003 as part of the village's sesquicentennial celebration.
The community raised $10,000 to have the clock and its digital system made by the Verdin Company, Cincinnati, bell makers since 1842.

The clock is now set on Westminster chimes, striking every 15 minutes, not just on the hour. The chimes strike Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
