Life is full of moments that we must treasure.  Graduation is one of those important moments. The Inn at ONU celebrates the graduates of 2013 and their accomplishments.

We extend to all graduates not only our congratulations but also our hope that you will find much success, the courage to go beyond expectations and the ability to believe that you can truly achieve your dreams.  We offer our congratulations to not only the graduates but to the families, teachers and administrators that have stood beside to guide and nurture.  Our best to the Graduating Classes of 2013.

Village Brush Pick Up/Chipping Service Scheduled for Monday, May 6

The Village will conduct a monthly service of brush pick up/chipping and pick up on Monday, May 6.

One of the goals of brush chipping and pickup is to keep the tree lawn areas of the Village clear of debris, so that debris litter does not enter the storm sewer system. Brush or storm debris in the tree lawn area may be picked up by the Village, and residents may place additional brush for chipping in that area. Hired tree trimmers must clean up their own debris; the Village will not pick up brush left by commercial cutters.

The Ada Kiwanis Club presented its annual $500 donation to the Village of Ada for its annual tree-planting efforts at the Arbor Day celebration held on April 26 at the Ada Schools.

In presenting the check, President Myrna McCurdy said, “It has been our privilege to make this annual presentation for the past 33 years. The motto of Kiwanis International is 'Serving the Children of the World.' The membership of the Ada Kiwanis Club works to serve the children and future adults of our community.

Our annual donation of money for trees is our way of showing children how we also work to create a better, more green environment.”
