VAN BUREN--The visiting Ada High School boys soccer team tied tough Van Buren 1-1 in a North Central Ohio Soccer Association match Thursday evening, October 6.
The Bulldogs are 5-6-4 overall and 0-4-1 in NCOSA following the road tie.
The Black Knights are now 4-5-4 and 1-0-3 in NCOSA after another tie.
Carter Conley tallied the lone Ada goal on a Nathan Williams assist.
Bulldog keeper Colton Long made six saves in goal.
The Bulldogs host LCC Monday, Oct. 10.
Ada entertains Marion Harding Oct. 13 as they end the regular season with a pair of non-league home games next week.

Two sessions are available, and each session will offer all 5 levels.
Session 1 will run from 5:30-6:15 p.m.
Session 2 will run from 6:45-7:30 p.m.

The Ohio Northern softball team has announced its 2023 schedule under seventh-year head coach Jackie Price.
The Polar Bears will get their 56th season underway March 11-19 with their annual Spring Break trip to Florida. The 10-to-12 game Spring Break schedule will be announced in February.
ONU will open its northern schedule on March 24-29 with home double headers with Calvin (Mich.) on March 24, Trine (Ind.) on March 25 and Alma (Mich.) on March 29.
Ohio Northern will open its Ohio Athletic Conference schedule with two games at Marietta on April 1.

Playing at home, the Ada High School volleyball team lost in straight sets to tall and athletic league leader Crestview in a Northwest Conference match Tuesday night, October 4.
The 25-7, 25-13, 25-9 loss dropped the Lady Bulldog record to 10-10 overall and 1-6 in the NWC.
The dominating Knight girls squad clinched at least a share of the NWC title with the win. They improved to 12-6 and 7-0 in the NWC to stay in sole possession of first place with one league match remaining.
