Ada High School senior lineman Lester Amos was named first team All-Northwest Conference on defense in Fall 2022 voting recently conducted by the league football coaches.
Bulldog sophomore quarterback/return ace Levi Green was named second team All-Northwest Conference as a specialist.
He was third in the NWC in rushing with 1,025 yards on 191 rushes, and he scored 10 touchdowns. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry and 102.5 yards per game.
Green also completed 63 of 132 passes for 831 yards and seven TDs with nine interceptions this season. He returned one kickoff for a touchdown and averaged 20.8 yards per return.
Ada High School senior libero Courtney Sumner was voted honorable mention Div. IV All-District 8 for volleyball recently by area coaches.
Sumner will play for the East team in the Div. IV district Senior All-Star Game.
Ada fifth-year mentor Kyleigh Woodruff was also named as one of the two coaches for the East All-Star squad.
The acrobatic Sumner set the school career record for digs this past season. She made 489 digs this year (6.8 per set) and served 35 aces to help lead Ada to an 11-12 record (2-6 NWC).
The All-Star Games will be played at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at Coldwater High School.
Football vs. Muskingum
Homecoming Weekend had beautiful weather and two dominant defensive efforts as Muskingum posted a 23-7 football victory over Ohio Northern on Saturday at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
HARROD--The Allen East football team outscored visiting Ada High School 28-0 in the second period to convincingly defeat their backyard rival 52-7 and win the Northwest Conference championship outright Friday night, October 21, at a windy Goodwin Field.

VAN BUREN–The visiting Ada High School boys soccer team was ousted in a 2-1 barnburner at Van Buren in Div. III sectional first round tournament play Wednesday evening, October 19.
The Bulldogs finish their season 7-7-4 with the close defeat.
The Black Knights improve to 8-5-4 with the victory, and advance to the sectional finals.
Ada senior forward Carter Conley scored the Bulldog goal on a penalty kick.
Ada keeper Colton Long made six saves in goal.
The Bulldogs and Black Knights previously played to a 1-1 tie at VB October 6.
