Lily Baumgartner wins 2 races, swims in 2 winning relays

The Ada High School swim team finished a strong second at the six-team Bucyrus Invitational Tuesday evening, December 20.
“We walked away with multiple best times and I’m very happy with second place,” said first-year Bulldog swim coach Ashley Robey.
Ada sophomore Lily Baumgartner won the 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle races to lead the Bulldogs.
Senior Carlie Oldfield won the 200 free, and took second in the 100 backstroke.
Senior Kaitlyn Bowden finished second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 100 backstroke.
Kayla Wince touched second in the 100 breaststroke, followed in third by freshman Alyssa Nau.
Oldfield, Baumgartner, Wince and Bowden all swam legs for the winning 200 medley relay and 200 free relay quartets.
The Bulldog girls finished second to Upper Sandusky in the meet. The Rams won the girls and boys team crowns as they took first in all three team standings.

Ada senior Brayden Miller took second in the 200 free and third in the 100 breast to pace the Bulldog boys. Junior Jack Baumgartner came in third in the 100 fly.
The Bulldog boys came in fourth out of six teams. In the combined team standings, Ada finished second to Upper, 200-101.

Ada High School is slated to compete in the 27-team Lima Holiday Invitational at the Lima YMCA Tuesday, Dec. 27.
The Bulldogs travel to Portage, Indiana for the Jay County Invitational Saturday, January 7.
