Symphony Storytime comes to Ada Public Library

The Lima Symphony Orchestra will bring Symphony Storytime to the Ada Public Library at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19.

Children and their families will enjoy classic spooky selections in celebration of every candy-loving child’s favorite holiday: Halloween! This program features Moonlight the Halloween Cat by Cynthia Rylant, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams, and Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, all accompanied by live music from Lima Symphony Orchestra musicians.

The program will get kids up and moving as they listen and respond to interactive texts and learn how composers create music that makes us jump out of our chairs. With a focus on creative movement and music literacy, Symphony Storytime is designed to spark children’s imaginations and foster a lifelong appreciation for music.

This program is appropriate for all ages and is free and open to the public.
