The Ohio Northern University Child Development Center has a few openings for preschoolers in the fall, according to June Zimmerman, director.
The Center, located at 209 S. Union St., Ada, operates full-day and half-day preschool programs.

The full-day program is offered Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
A non-refundable registration fee of $25 will be charged to enroll in the CDC program. This fee reserves a space for your child.
Fees:
Full-day preschool – more than 4.5 hours per day: $32 per day
Half-day preschool - less than 4.5 hours per day: $20 per day
Three day a week preschool Program (8:30-11:30 a.m.): $150 a month
Two day a week preschool program (8:30-11:30 a.m.): $130 a month

Step Up to Quality
Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a voluntary five–star quality rating system administered by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) that recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality benchmarks over and above minimum health and safety licensing standards.
The steps are based on national research identifying the program standards that lead to improved outcomes for children. Ohio Northern University Child Care Center is currently a STAR 5.
These standards include:
• low child to staff ratios
• higher staff education
• on–going specialized training
• improved workplace characteristics, and
• learning standards
