Hardin County moves to Red Alert Level

Health data released yesterday led the Ohio Department of Health to designated Hardin County as being in a Red Alert Level 3 as defined by the Ohio Public Health Advisory System.

New health data found that 38 counties currently have a very high risk of exposure and spread (Red Level 3), up from 29 counties last week.

This represents the highest number of Red Level 3 counties since the launch of the advisory system in July.

At this time, there are no new mandated closures or cancellations – businesses, organizations and individuals are provided information here so they can determine how they can best protect themselves, their fellow residents, and their community.

An Ohio Alerts message from Ada schools yesterday announced that persons picking up students from school must wear a mask when that person is outside of the vehicle.
