Hardin County "meet the candidates" night Oct. 16
A Hardin County voter forum is planned from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department 1025 S. Main St., Kenton.
Sponsors of the forum include Kenton Times, Ada Icon, Ada Herald, Hardin County Republican Party, Hardin County Democratic Party and Allen and Hardin for Election Action and Democracy (AHEAD).
The forum, called “Evening With Your Candidates,” is organized by Hardin County Talks.
Rev. Vanessa R. Cummings, chair of Hardin County Talks, said, “This is the voters chance to meet the people running to represent Hardin County on the Tuesday, Nov. 6, election. Democrat and Republican candidates will be present to answer voter questions.”
Candidates attending include candidates for Hardin commissioner, Ronnie Eastman (D), and Tim Striker, (R); county auditor, Michael Bacon (R); state representative, Jon Cross (R), and Mary Harshfield (D); state senator (Rob McColley (R) and Adam Papin (D), and U.S. Congressional Representative, Mike Galbraith (D).
