Ada High School Band to perform Monday
The Ada High School Band will conclude its 2017-18 season with a concert Monday, May 21 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.
The band's performance selections include the soundtrack from Disney’s “The Incredibles,” “Into the Raging River” by Steven Reineke, the soundtrack from “Jurassic World,” “Liberty Fleet March” by Karl King, “Good Night” by Chris Bernotas, “The Lost Temple” by Jared Barnes, and “Alien Marching Machine” by John Prescott.
This spring concert will also include recognition of the band and color guard students with awards presentations for involvement in the instrumental music program. Awards presented will include the nationally recognized John Phillips Sousa Award and the Orion Award for Band, as well as letter winners and additional awards.
Jonathan Lischak is the instrumental music director.
