Here's his first installment:
On Feb. 10, 1972, the North School was razed to make room for new fire department building. The building once served both grade and high school students through the years with the first classes being held as far back as 1892 when construction was completed.
The old school was sold to Ohio Northern University in 1952 for $18,500, to be used as an engineering college.
ONU donated the building and lot to the township to be used for the building of the new fire station.
