Liberty National Bank is looking to help in the fight against Identity Theft and fraud by sponsoring a Free Shred Your Documents Week that allows community members to safely dispose of sensitive documents.

Liberty National Bank’s Free Shred Your Documents Week will be Monday, May 4 – Friday, May 8t, at all of Liberty National Bank’s office locations.
Identity Theft and fraud are a rational fear for individuals and businesses. By simply shredding old tax records, insurance records, bank statements, cancelled checks, health records, financial documents, legal documents, and all other sensitive documents you can help stop identity thieves in their tracks.
"We encourage community members to bring their unwanted paperwork to be destroyed safely and securely free of charge. Certified Document Destruction, Inc., a shredding company out of Wauseon, Ohio, will have locked Shred Bins available at each office location to provide secure document destruction. This is a free service to the community to help fight the growing concern of Identity Theft," said Zimmerly.
