A busy day in Ada - 1907

The post card reads: "Our busy day, Ada, Ohio." The message side lists an August 7, 1907, Ada postmark. The post card was mailed to John Trainer of Sparta, Ohio, Morrow County.

The message, in ink, below the photo reads: "Social Progress" winning Lehr Prize was published July 12. Think we sent you a copy several days ago. Very truly, Harold.

We don't know the event that attracted so many people, dressed up, to downtown Ada. The photo is taken at the railroad track looking south.

It's official - the 2012-13 Ada school year is underway

The school year is officially underway.

Ada High School has 75 seniors this year who will be graduating class of 2013. In addition, 71 seventh grade students launched their junior high career. They will graduate in 2018.

Here are some of the first-day announcement:

New teachers

• Anna Yoakam – English

EMERGENCY MEDICAL FORMS: Please have parent/guardian stop in the HSO ASAP to update and sign the form.

Tabbi Jolliff will head to the University of Findlay in occupational therapy
