Ada Area Chamber of Commerce meet Wednesday morning

The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at 8 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the community room of Community Health Professionals, according to Deb Curlis, president.

This is a change of date for the meeting, which is usually on the third Wednesday of the month.

Community Economic Development Center presents entrepreneur workshop on ‘Marketing your product, success and failures’

The Community Economic Development Center (CEDC) at Ohio Northern University opens its 2013-14 entrepreneurship workshop series in the Dicke Forum on Thursday, Sept. 26. The workshop will be preceded by a networking event at 5:30 p.m. The workshop will follow the networking event and conclude at 7 p.m.

The topic of the workshop will be “Marketing your product, success and failures. Making the Milestone system work” with Dennis D. Stripe. This event is free and open to the public.

Ada High School and Miami RedHawks Quarterback became a member of Denver Broncos 53 man roster after a solid performance in the 4th preseason game held at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Dysert played the entire second half as the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Broncos 32-24. The paid attendance was 75,465 with the stands clearly dominated with fans in Denver Orange.

Don Steinman from Arlington, found this sign in a antique store in pretty bad shape. He had a fellow restore it for him.  Don is relation to the Steinman's from the lumber company and is also the editor and president of the Eagle Creek Historical Organization clubs newsletter in Arlington. 

Steinman Lumber Company's Ada office was west of the city buildng.
