Kathleen "Katie" Wright, 84, died on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 3:30 a.m. at Shawnee Manor, Lima.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1929, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to Willie and Sarah (Puckett) Wright, they preceded her in death.
Kathleen worked at the Ada Kroger Store and later the Marion Kroger Store. She attended Lonesome Valley United Baptist Church of Alger. She attended McGuffey High School. s.
Surviving are a sister, Iretta Wright of Ada; six nieces: Judy F. Prater of Ada, Helen (Ralph) Frisby of Sevierville, Tenn., Sharron (Edd) Campbell of Prestonsburg, Ky., Lori (Tom) Bond of Las Vegas, Nev., Sharlene Biddinger of Biloxi, Miss. and Peggy S. Prater of Louisville, Ky.; a nephew, Phillip R. Ramey of Mt. Home, Ark.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Ruby Prater and Marie Biddinger; three infant brothers: Donald, Paul and Silas Wright; a niece Martha Ramey.
Funeral services were June 28 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Elder Ellis Smith and Carl Puckett officiating. Burial was in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
