Ready for a shower? Go outside and watch the Perseid meteor shower

The 2014 Perseid meteor shower will peak between Aug. 10 and 13. A waning Gibbous Moon (the Moon's phase after a full moon) may make it harder for observers to see the shower.

This information is compliments of the website: timeanddate.com

Despite this, astronomers suggest that observers try their luck to catch some Perseids before dawn on Aug. 11, 12 and 13.

What have you been up to since your graduation from Ada High School?

Well, I finished up my first year at Bluffton University and I’m getting ready to start my second year there. I had a job as a student assistant in the University Tech Center all year and I am currently employed there full-time for the summer. I will be working there again this school year.

How many garages sales are going on at this moment in Ada? It's too difficult to count. Here's the scene on Hayes Avenue. Thanks to the Lincoln Highway Buy Way Sale there are more garages are being cleaned out this weekend than any of the next 51 weekends. (Bailey Bowers photo)
