The Blaze is an event sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce. Fred Steiner, chamber director, said, “Most people think of the Blaze as a one-evening event. It’s really the entire holiday season because several events take place until New Years.”

Village Voice: Another great Harvest and Herb Festival

Another great Harvest and Herb Festival filled Main Street on Saturday! Downtown Ada was full of people, festival food, vendors and of course, the parade. Ada certainly put its best face forward.

This year, the beautiful flower baskets on our decorative light poles in the Depot had a light shown on them during the Harvest and Herb Festival. Many people stopped by to admire the flower baskets and donate to the flower fund. We want to thank everyone for the appreciative words and donations to the fund!

What a game! Bulldogs by 1 over Pirates thanks to Levi Bass blocked PAT

By Dusty Donley

A monster 28-point fourth quarter and a late game blocked extra point helped the visiting Ada Bulldogs secure an amazing comeback victory as they defeated the Bluffton Pirates, 42-41. Down 35-14 with just over a quarter to play, the Bulldogs rallied behind the arm of Freshman gunslinger Seth Conley, scoring four times in a thrilling fourth period. The win moves Ada to (2-3) overall and (1-2) in the Northwest Conference.

Both offenses started slow, with neither finding the end zone in the first quarter, but once the scoring started, it didn't stop until the final seconds ticked off the clock.
