What should I wear today? We suggest a cue from the Ada HS Student Council

Having a difficult time deciding what to wear tomorrow?

Here's a cue from Ada High School. It's Student Council Spirit Week. Each day has a different dress theme. Here's this week's dress schedule.

Merry Monday---Wear your Santa hat to school, get a cookie at lunch! If you don’t have a Santa hat, cookies will be available for purchase at lunch. All proceeds will benefit ReStore.

Tinsel Tuesday—Dress in your shiniest clothes and stop in the library to vote for your favorite Christmas movie…it will be played in the library on Friday.

Let's go skating

The only place in Ada where you'll find snow on the ground and water frozen hard enough to skate is the Ada Public Library. This charming winter scene is on display at the circulation desk.

Give me four walls, a roof and lots of yummy stuff to eat, please

Q: What has four walls, a roof and lots of yummy stuff to eat?

A: It should be obvious, but's here's a hint: Lots of these structures were built recently at the Ada Public Library. They are called gingerbread houses.

They come in a wide range of styles and accomodations. The library allowed us to link up to the Facebook photo gallery.

For an enjoyable time, click here and check out this year's brand of Ada gingerbread houses. (There's 32 photos.)
