Senior Cody Lovejoy leads nation with 17 pins against NCAA Division III competition

Ohio Northern senior All-American Cody Lovejoy leads the nation in falls this season, according to the NCAA Statistics service.

Lovejoy has 17 pins against NCAA Division III competition, the most by any wrestler against his level of competition.

Taylor Walsh of Indiana has 14 pins to lead Division I wrestlers and Evan Rosenborough of Lake Erie leads Division II wrestlers with 10 pins.

Lovejoy is 29-0 with 20 pins against all competition and is ranked No. 1 nationally in Division III's 285-pound weight class.

How safe is it living in Ada? According to a consumer report from ValuePenguin it's extremely safe.

The report rated Ada as 65th safest city in Ohio.

Analysts at ValuePenquin conducted a study to compare a variety of crime metrics across nearly 230 cities and villages in Ohio.

Village Voice: Nearly 40 percent of Ada water bills are estimated in January - here's why

A major goal of the Village’s water department is to be able to obtain an actual reading of water meter usage each and every month. Using an actual read each month helps both the consumer and the Village better budget and track water usage. 

Our ordinances do allow for the Village to use estimated readings for billing under certain circumstances.

Community Health Professionals honor long-term employees

Community Health Professionals home health and hospice recently honored 82 employees with 10 or more years of service to the organization’s three affiliated nonprofit corporations and 12 offices in Northwest and West Central Ohio.

Two Ada employees were among those recognized. They are Carrie Slone, personal care aide – Ada; and Claudia Crawford, RN, nursing supervisor – Ada.
