You'll never guess where Ada gets some of the salt on the street in front of your house

There is probably a little bit of Morocco on the road in front of your house as a portion of the salt being spread in Ohio this winter comes from that African nation.

But, no matter where the salt comes from, it's good news that Ada should have an ample supply to spread on roads this winter.

Pass the salt, please

Trent Dysert (left) and Russell Gray work the village's salt and grit pile, located behind the street barn, in preparation for the next snowfall. Although Ada has seen its fair share of snow this season, the village has ample supply of road clearing material left...and this year's supply was purchased at an opportune time, saving the village many dollars.
