A little taste of Guanajuato at El Campo's in Ada

Enrique Cabrera, owner of El Campo, describes one of the murals he painted at his restaurant on Main Street.

The scene includes the church in his hometown of Guanajuato, Mexico. He liked to draw, so thought he'd try his hand at murals. Since he opened the Ada business here seven years ago, he has now painted murals on all of the walls.

Sandy Turner holds a bunch of multi-colored tulips at Carol Slane Florist in Ada. Thinking spring? The tulips were not grown in the backyard in Ada but spring blooms are flourishing somewhere. Next week the local florist will have spring flowers in pots...think daffodils, crocus, tulips, hyacinths and more...a welcome sight.
