Weekend Doctor: Interruptions by technology

Balancing the demands of caregiving with other life responsibilities is challenging for many parents. Many things need our attention, and we can be easily distracted by a phone alert or lose track of time scrolling through social media. Many parents’ lives have become even more digitally connected during the pandemic. This can have an impact on the health of families.   

Dig for a Cure t-shirt orders due Sept. 21

The Ada High School volleyball team will host a Dig for a Cure benefit game at 5:00 p.m. on October 10 vs. Upper Sandusky.

T-shirts are $15 and all proceeds will go to the family of Julie Butterfield who taught at Ada Schools and lost her battle with breast cancer in July. T-shirts need to ordered by Wednesday, Sept. 21 - you can bring the order form with payment to the school. Make checks payable to Ada Athletic Boosters. Order form HERE.

There will be raffle baskets, 50/50 and baked goods to purchase at the game as well.

Homecoming Football Game against Delphos Jefferson- Friday (9/23) at 7:00 pm at the Stadium

Homecoming Dance- Saturday (9/24) at 8:00 pm at Ada Schools

AHS football loss to Pirates, 31-7

BLUFFTON⎯The Ada High School football team fell behind early yet battled back only to eventually lose 31-7 to Bluffton in a Northwest Conference battle Friday, September 16, at Harmon Field.

Ada dropped to 1-4 and 0-2 in the NWC with the defeat. Meanwhile, the Pirates improved to 3-2 and 2-0 in the league with their second straight win.
