Ohio National Guard will end its participation in the program in July

Ohio National Guard Major Gen. John Harris announced that he has directed July 2, as the end of all missions at all food banks across the state of Ohio.
National Guard troops have been working side by side with West Ohio Food Bank staff, partner agencies, and volunteers since March 25, 2020, all through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Statement from West Ohio Food Bank CEO Tommie Harner:
Ada Boy Scout Troop 124 will conduct a flag retirement ceremony at the Scout Cabin in the southeast corner of Ada War Memorial Park at 7 p.m., Monday, June 14, Flag Day.
The ceremony is free and opened to the public.

OhioMeansJobs Hardin County will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, June 14, at 175 W. Franklin St., Suite 150, Kenton.
The community is invited to tour the newly-remodeled center, learn more about our services and training programs, and meet staff and partners.
Light refreshments will be provided. The Center is now open with no restrictions, Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 .m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
OhioMeansJobs Hardin County center offers a variety of services to both job seekers of all ages and employers. All basic services are no cost to the customer. Some services may require eligibility determination.
The Inn at ONU, 401 W. College Ave., Ada, presents several events during its “Stars and Stripes,” long Fourth of July weekend.
