As the hot weather of summer starts to cool down, many of those who  own a swimming pool are preparing to winterize or take them down. Because the water used in them is treated with chemicals, it is important  that they are drained properly.  

Township Rd 35 will be closed to thru traffic from CR 50 to CR 60 onTuesday and Wednesday, Sept 24-25.

The road will be widened and paved. Please plan to take an alternate route on those days.

Local stats demonstrate design effectiveness

The Ohio Department of Transportation is recognizing National Roundabouts Week as "a time to celebrate a simple engineering design that has dramatically improved the safety of intersections throughout the country."

Proposed "Citizens Not Politicians" Amendment

LIMA—The League of Women Voters of the Lima Area will sponsor a public presentation on the proposed Citizens Not Politicians Constitutional Amendment, which will be on the Ohio ballot in November. The presentation will take place at the Lima Public Library Memorial Room (1st floor) on Monday, Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
