Ada's latest news

BROWN1E - The Icon found this plate on a black Honda Civic near the ONU garage. It's pretty obvious that the driver is a member of Delta Sigma Phi.

But the May events calendar is full of activities

Ada students are in the home stretch of the 2016-17 school year. Here are some early May announcements from the school website and the May events calendar for the school.

Student council:  to the new members of Ada HS Student Council for the 2017-18 school year: Ireland, Kirsten, Miranda, Barrette, Brevin, Isaac, Logan, Katie, Jacob, Kama, Nathan and Nicki. There will be a brief meeting for all Student Council members on Thursday, May 11 in the library at 8:15 a.m.

The sign says it all: High Water.  Here's the view of County Road 65 east of Ada on Friday afternoon. Depending on where the water gauges were located, the Ada area received 5 to 6 inches of rain on Thursday and Friday. You'd think that amount would be enough to last all summer, but the area could be crying for rain a month from now due to Ohio's fickle weather. (Ken Collins photo)
