Renowned artist Jay Ryan of The Bird Machine in Chicago will be at Ohio Northern working with printmaking students on Thursday, according to the ONU Department of Art and Design Facebook page.
He will also conduct a workshop and discuss his work while on campus.
Ryan learned about screenprinting from Steve Walters at Screwball Press in late 1995, where they worked together until 1999, at which point he started The Bird Machine print shop in the basement of his apartment building.

Ada sweeps Wildcats in county tilt By Cort Reynolds
ADA - The host Ada volleyball team won in straight sets over Hardin County rival Kenton Monday night to stay undefeated at home.
The lopsided 25-6, 25-10, 25-23 victory, their eighth win in the last nine matches, upped the Lady Bulldog record to 11-6 overall. Kenton fell to 1-8 with the loss.
Junior middle Melina Woods led Ada with nine kills, eight digs, two blocks and one ace.
"Olivia (Alexander) and Melina covered everything," said Ada head coach Melissa Gossard. "The back row did really well defensively."
