When do ONU students head home for Christmas break?
The colleges of Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy and Business Administration wrap up the semester with Dec. 16 as the last day of finals. Classes resume on Jan. 17, a month's break.
The College of Law works on a different academic calendar. The last day of finals for them is Dec. 9. Law classes for spring semester will begin on Jan. 5.
ONU has been on the semester system the past few years. For many years, the local university operated on the quarter system. In fact, it is said that Ohio Northern was the first university to be on the quarter system.
