Timothy Arnett 1966 - 2019

Timothy W. Arnett, 53, died on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at 5:23 p.m. at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.

He was born on May 9, 1966, in Lima, Ohio, to Donald and Ethel (Rowe) Arnett and they survive in Alger. Tim is also survived by his daughter, Jaime (Trevor) Howe of Ada; a brother, Jody Arnett of Ada; a sister, Sharlene (Darrin) Collins of Ada; and eight nephews: Jake and Isaac Collins, Noah, Aaron, Joshua, Tristan, Benjamin and Jayce Arnett.

Tim worked as a semi driver for Graphic Packaging, Kenton.  He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with all of his buddies whom he dearly loved.

Ruth Hackworth Wright 1928 - 2019

Ruth Hackworth Wright, 91, died on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at 1 a.m. at The Springs in Lima, Ohio.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1928, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to the late Merda B. and Dora (Adams) Williams.  On Jan. 2, 1947, Ruth married Milo Hackworth and he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1982.  She later married Lawrence Wright on April 16, 2001, and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2008.

Ruth was a homemaker. She was a member of the Union Chapel Missionary Church of Lima, active in Loyal Crusaders Sunday School Class, Women’s Ministry, and JOY Fellowship.  She was a former member of the Ada Senior Citizens.

Clyde Ernsberger 1931 - 2019

Former Ada resident Clyde Franklin Ernsberger,  88, died unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, due to injuries sustained in an accident.

He started Ernsberger Jewerly in Bluffton. Clyde was a member of the United Methodist Church throughout his life in Ada, Bluffton and Columbus, most recently at Church for All People.

Born  in 1931 to Paul and Helen Ernsberger in Ada, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Fred, Joseph and Glenn, wives Kathryn Rimmer, Elsie Hager and Mary Ileana Caluchi.

Survived by his children, Susan (Roger) Weith, Robert (Christine) Ernsberger, Kathy (Oris) Schrag and Pamela Skowronek; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Robert Wagner was a lifelong farmer

1948 graduate of Ada High School

Robert E. Wagner, 89, went to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at 11:01 a.m. at his residence in Ada, surrounded by his wife and loving family.

He was born on June 9, 1930, in Hancock County, Ohio, to Louie P. and Helen K. (Nusbaum) Wagner who preceded him in death.  On June 25, 1950, he married Twila L. Henry and she survives in Ada.

Robert formerly worked at the Triplett Electric of Bluffton in the Engineering Department from 1948 to 1953 and he was a lifelong farmer.  He was a lifetime member of the Bethel Church of Christ, Ada.  Robert was a 1948 graduate of Ada High School.

Judy Lawrence drove school busses for 20 years at USV

She was a 1964 Ada HS grads

Judy A. Lawrence,  73, died on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at 8:31 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born on July 18, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to the late Francis and Doris (Baughman) Edens. In November 1970 Judy married Thomas A. Lawrence who survives in Huntsville.

Judy retired from the Upper Scioto Valley School Systems, where she drove bus for over 20 years.  She was a lifelong member of the Alger Assembly of God Church.  She was a 1964 graduate of Ada High School.  Judy enjoyed cooking, liked her flowers, quilting, going out to eat and traveling.  The most important thing Judy enjoyed was spending time with her family.   

Patricia Kipker was a retired Ada EMT and Paramedic

Was also a Hardin Hills Nursing Health Center, Kenton, nurse

Patricia H. Kipker, 77, died on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at 5:43 p.m. at her residence in Ada.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1942 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Robert and Catherine (McNamara) Dimond.  On Nov. 7, 1961, Patricia married Louis L. Kipker, Jr. and he survives in Ada.

Patricia retired from Hardin Hills Nursing Health Center, Kenton, where she worked as a nurse. She was also a volunteer EMT and Paramedic for Ada Emergency Services.
