Liberty National Bank will shred your documents this week

It's Free Shred Your Documents Week and that means Liberty National Bank is ready to assist you in safely discarding your documents.

Shredding is going on all week until Friday, May 8  at all Liberty Bank locations.

“We are proud to offer this service free of charge as a way to give back to our communities,” said Ronald Zimmerly, president and CEO.

Identity Theft and fraud are a rational fear for individuals and businesses. Everyone wins in 7th annual Run for the Roses

Story and photos by Amy Eddings

Ten-year old Ella Bardertscher was the clear winner in the children's' fun run before the 7th annual Run For the Roses 5K race at Ohio Northern University's Kerscher Stadium on Sunday, May 3.

It was a fitting tribute to her cousin, Angela Bardertscher, in whose memory the race is held. Angie, a graduate of Ada High School and ONU, died of cystic fibrosis in 2008 at the age of 27. Her sister, Kim, has CF, too, and had a double lung transplant in 2011. The race is also in her honor.

It's his game

Mitchell Wilcox, Ada High School senior, plays tennis for the Bulldogs this spring. The Icon photographed him in a recent match.
