Look what familiar women's basketball squad is now 11th in the nation

The Ohio Northern women's basketball team jumped three spots to No. 11 in the ninth weekly D3hoops.com Women's Top 25 Poll.

This ties the Polar Bears highest ranking this season as they received 364 points in the poll.

Thomas More (Ky.) reclaimed the top spot with 625 points and all 25 first place votes, followed by George Fox (Ore.) in second with 596 points and Hope (Mich.) in third with 578 points.

Ohio Athletic Conference foe Capital moved up four spots to No. 20 with 103 points.

Read me a story

School board holds meeting and planning session Feb. 18

The Ada school board will hold a meeting and planning session next week.

The meeting is at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, in the board meeting room.

Ada HS instrumental solo and ensemble contest results

Seven Ada High School musicians received either Superiors or Excellent ratings at last Saturday's solo and ensemble contest held at Lima Senior. 

Instrumental students were:
