The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse program is scheduled to open its 2019 regular season under fourth-year head coach Nat St. Laurent on Feb. 16 as they host Elmhurst (Ill.), the first of seven affairs scheduled at Dial-Roberson Stadium for the upcoming season.
Following the home opener, Northern will travel out-of-state for five consecutive contests beginning with an eastward journey to Washington and Jefferson (Pa.) on February 23. The stretch continues into early March and includes stops at Guilford (N.C.), Pfeiffer (N.C.), Brevard (N.C.), and Alfred (N.Y.).

Dustin Risser of Ada put many pieces together from a wagon, golf cart, mini bike, and his own imagination to come up with a wagon for his little girl, Petra, 17 months.
The pair were spotted at the F&M picnic on Saturday at Ada War Memorial Park. Dustin said, “I’ve always liked to build stuff. Why have a boring wagon?” The wagon is big enough to accommodate the little one and all of her paraphernalia, like stuffed animals.
Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Advanced Certification for Primary Stroke Centers.
The Gold Seal of Approval and the Heart-Check mark represent symbols of quality from their respective organizations.
BVHS underwent a rigorous onsite review where Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with stroke-related standards and requirements, including program management, the delivery of clinical care and performance improvement.
The Village of Ada offices report that Gilbert Street, from Buckeye to Lincoln, will be closed from Tuesday until Friday this week for railroad crossing repair. The closure was requested by United Railroad Service, Inc.
