Gregory Scott Neeley, age 58, of Jenera, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. 

He was born October 23, 1966 to Connie J. Neeley and Oxie “O.C” Neeley in Lima, Ohio. Greg is proceeded in death by his mother, Connie Neeley and his father Oxie Neeley. 

Greg is survived by his brother, Shawn (Krista) Neeley, New Stark Ohio, special to him niece Ashley (Shane) Neeley-Hogan, Dola Ohio, and Laekin Loomis, Mountain Home Idaho, great niece and nephews, also his forever love and best friend Tracie. 

Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Ada Distinguished Awards Night, which takes place on Thursday, February 27, 2024 at Liberty Oaks. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

The Upper Scioto Valley Performing Arts Boosters will host the third annual Craft & Vendor Show on Saturday, March 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Upper Scioto Valley High School, 510 S. Courtright Street, McGuffey.

The parent-led organization works to support the elementary music, middle and high school bands, middle and high school choirs and the drama program at Upper Scioto Valley Schools. The Craft & Vendor Show is the main fundraising event of the year for these programs.

The event will include over 60 area vendors and crafters, basket raffles, and a 50/50 drawing. Booster president Melanie Dyer notes that “there will be plenty of shopping and fun for the whole family.”

Amanda Raines, 4-H Youth Development Educator in Hardin County, was  recognized as Hardin County's Outstainding Fair Supporter at a breakfast hosted by the Ohio Department of Agriculture at the Ohio Fair Manager's Association annual convention on Friday, January 3.  

Amanda's passion for the youth of Hardin County goes well beyond the duties of her job description. She invests countless hours specifically at our fair including working with our Junior Fair Board, assisting with ribbons and awards, supporting junior fair entries, assisting with risk management and so much more.
