Wow! ONU soccer players hit the books, too

The Ohio Northern men's soccer team continued its success in the classroom during the 2017 season under 20th-year head coach Brent Ridenour.

The Polar Bears posted a 3.44 cumulative team grade point average during the Fall semester in 2017.

For the 16th consecutive semester, Northern had at least 10 athletes post a 3.50 GPA or better, while 25 members were named to the Dean's List.

Northern also had five players post a perfect 4.0 GPA, marking the ninth straight semester that ONU has had at least five players post a perfect grade point average.

2018 refuse and recycling guide now at village office and on The Icon

Village Voice

Village Voice: The 2018 Republic Services refuse and recycling guide is now available in the Ada Water Office.

Many residents find it helpful to keep a copy of the calendar handy to know which day their refuse and recycling pick up will happen.

The current contract the Village holds with Republic Services is in place through
November, and there are no changes planned for pick up this year.

Refuse will still continue to be picked up on Tuesdays, with the possible exception of weeks in which a major holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday.
