Liberty National Bank is a participant in the Welcome Home Program, a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, according to Ronald L. Zimmerly, LNB president and CEO.
The Welcome Home Program assists eligible homebuyers with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.
The Welcome Home Program provides up to $5,000 in grant money for low to moderate income homebuyers and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Honorably discharged veterans and active duty military homebuyers may receive Welcome Home grants up to $7,500.

The new business opened at 117 E. Lincoln Ave., earlier this winter by partners Gina Murray and Cassandra Casiano.
“We want to impact the community with healthy options,” said Gina. Adding, “We want to be a positive influence here.”
Those health options and positive influences include No Limit offering healthy nutritious meal replacements including teas, energizing cocktails and protein snacks.
No Limit Nutrition offers over 45 different flavors of meal replacement shakes, energizing teas and other beverages under 250 calories.
Three Bluffton business professionals address basic questions

Three Bluffton business professionals will offer a free “Getting Your House In Order” workshop this month.
Faith Investment Services, partnering with Scott Basinger, attorney at law, and Neil Reichenbach, CPA, present workshops addressing basic questions about retirement, insurance coverage, taxes and similar subjects.
The workshop is at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the front portion of Faith Investment Services building, 101 N. Main St., Bluffton.
Expanding ways to serve small businesses in 4-county area

In 2020, the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE) will be awarding prizes, holding free brown bag discussions, and expanding the ways it serves small businesses in the four counties surrounding the Village of Bluffton.
The Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition, which begins on Wednesday, January 15, will award $7500 in prizes to new businesses and improving 45817 businesses. Spaces are limited and the Emerging Business division has just three seats left.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, joined by Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, MD, MPH, and OhioHealth Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Bruce Vanderhoff, MD, MBA, today offered resources to those looking to quit using tobacco products in the new year.
“As Ohioans make their new year’s resolutions, they can’t go wrong with a commitment to quitting smoking or vaping,” said Governor DeWine. “There are state resources available for those looking to quit, including a program specifically for teens. Individuals can also contact their healthcare provider for help. The evidence is clear, quitting could save your life.”
