Chamber's annual membership meeting is Feb. 19

Ada Area Chamber of Commerce starts a new year with its first monthly breakfast at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Ada Public Library.

Jon Cross (R) District 83, Ohio House of Representatives, is the speaker. He will update chamber members on anticipated legislation in Ohio this year. The Ada Icon is the breakfast sponsor.

Isaac Williams, an Ada High School sophomore, plays with poison. It's a poison dart frog and he's working on a drawing of it in his Art II class. Isaac told the Icon that the assignment is to create something that has lots of color, thus the colorful, but poisonous art piece. He's using colored pencils and will finish the background with an air brush. The next photo in this series shows a close-up of the frog.
