Ada hosts league foe Leipsic in the first round of the Div. VII, Region 26 playoffs on Friday, November 1

ADA __ Ada Bulldog senior quarterback Levi Green was named the Blanchard Valley Conference Co-Offensive Player of 2024 in voting recently conducted by league coaches.
Clutch player Green was voted first team All-BVC. He led Ada to an 8-2 regular season record and a 6-2 mark in the BVC, good for third place, in their first season as a member of the league.
Green rushed for 16 touchdowns and a league-leading 1,417 yards on 148 carries (9.6 avg. per rush). He also completed 82 of 129 passes for 12 touchdowns and 1,031 yards, with just four interceptions.
Bulldog senior Dalton Amos made first team All-BVC on both the offensive and defensive line. He led the team in sacks.
Two-way standout Kayleb Hickman was named second team All-BVC as a wide receiver, and also at defensive back. Junior Hickman caught 28 passes for 413 yards (14.8 avg.) and three TDs.
He led Ada with four interceptions, and was one of the better punt and kickoff returners in the league. He averaged 20.3 yards per kickoff and had one 85-yard touchdown return. He averaged 14.3 yards per punt return.
Ada junior linebacker Zack Zimmerman was voted second team All-BVC. He led the team with 78 tackles, 13 of which went for losses.
Sophomore Andrew Allen earned second team all-league notice as a kicker. He has booted a perfect 37 of 37 on extra points and added one field goal for 40 points.
Senior Landon Simon also made second team All-BVC as a defensive lineman after being one of the Bulldog leaders in sacks.
Senior running back Kaine Fisher was voted third team All-BVC. He scored 18 touchdowns overall, and rushed for 15 scores. He netted 890 yards on 120 carries (7.4 avg.). Fisher snagged three TD receptions as well.
Ada senior center/defensive lineman Brody Erickson was named honorable mention all-league and Academic All-BVC.
Senior wide receiver/defensive back Trevor McGue, sophomore DB Blake Zoloadz (73 tackles) and junior wide receiver/DB Gavin Oldfield were also named honorable mention all-conference.
Oldfield snared 19 receptions for 245 yards (12.9 avg.) and two TDs.
Liberty-Benton won the league title at 8-0, followed by Pandora-Gilboa (7-1) and Ada (6-2).
McComb and Leipsic tied for fourth at 5-3, followed by Van Buren (4-4), Arlington (3-5) and Riverdale (2-6). Arcadia and Elmwood tied for last at 0-8.
The Eagles swept the individual awards behind four juniors. Linebacker Austin Collert was Defensive Player of the Year, while wide receiver Zach Elchert shared Offensive POY honors with Green.
L-B’s Will Granger was tabbed Offensive Lineman of the Year, while C.J. Barbara was voted Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Eagle mentor Scott Garlock was voted BVC Coach of the Year by his peers.
