Lloyd A. Miller served in the U.S. Army

Lloyd A. Miller, age 91, of Dunkirk, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  

He was born on September 14, 1933 in Painesville, Ohio to the late Raymond and Margaret (Anspach) Miller.  On April 22, 1958 Lloyd married Ilene Salsbury and she preceded him in death on December 14, 2000.  Lloyd later married Doris J. Honecker on November 22, 2001 and she preceded him in death on February 10, 2010. 

Lloyd is survived by his two sons: Rick (Helen) Miller and Bill (Bonnie) Miller; four step children: Kathy (David) Heistand, Renee (Steve) Monday, Randy (Sue) Buckmaster and Tracy Bibler; seven grandchildren, sixteen step grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Sandy. 

He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Richard and Donald. 

Lloyd retired from Ford Motor Company of Lima, where he worked as a machine operator.  He was a member of the Alger Assembly of God Church.  Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1955-1957. He was also a member of the Findlay Gun and Rifle Club. 

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Pastor Mark Andreasen officiating. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery, Dunkirk.    

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Friday, September 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.      

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alger Assembly of God Church.
